As a FullStack Developer you will be responsible for maintaining and creating new web applications. Including but not limited to custom analytics platforms, user portals and video servicing platforms.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Work with product owners and the technical leads to create Angular JS web applications to be used within the mining sector
• Mentor junior developers by directing them in the best development practices and helping them get unblocked with their current tasks
• Work with the technical lead to build UI components as well as Node JS functions
• Build UI components based on Figma designs
• Build Node JS serverless functions inside firebase
• Integrate current and new functions with external APIs
• Work closely with the product owners to interpret complex mathematical functions to support the technical nature of the analytics platform

Skills / Qualifications:

• At least 5 years' experience in Full Stack Development utilizing Angular JS, HTML, CSS and Node
• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience working within the GCPeco-system
• Experience mentoring junior developers. No formal leadership experience required.
• Experience writing queries for document databases
• Understanding or knowledge in Algolia indexes or a product similar
• Experience working with applications that require the implementation and interpretation of complex mathematical functions
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• An interest in learning and increasing one's skill set.
• Self-organisation and time management
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills to effectively collaborate with foreign counterparts

Advantageous skills or nice-to-haves:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar
• Experience working on custom analytics platforms with large datasets
• Experience working with Geo-Spatial data
• Experience with Circle-CI or similar Dev-ops platforms
• Experience with Snowflake
• Experience with Python
• Experience with Figma, Jira and Miro
