Job Description

You will be part of their local existing team and to work with their offshore counterparts to support their mainly US-based clients. You should be motivated and driven work in an environment that aims to provide 24/7 support.

Our client is a local outsourcing company that provides a wide range of business support and customer services in the fields of information and communications technology, finance and accounting, architecture and graphic design, human resources, and procurement. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide resolution for escalated service tickets
• Works together with other Tier 3 Support in planning and developing solutions for escalated issues and projects given
• Works with clients to evaluate and solve technical problems
• Evaluates existing systems and/or user needs to analyze, design, recommend, and
• implement system changes
• Configures and supports internal and/or external networks
• Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations
• Troubleshoots network performance
• Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment
• Informs management of recurring issues
• Documents resolutions and knowledgebase articles
• Performs other duties that the client and management may require

 

Skills / Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in IT or any relevant course is preferred but not required
• 3 or more years’ experience as a Tier 3 Technical support
• Must be proficient in Windows Server administration
• Advanced support knowledge and experience in the following products/services:
  o Microsoft -- Windows Active Directory, Exchange, Hyper-V, Office 365
  o Networking – Cisco, Meraki, Fortigate
  o Virtualization – VMWare or Citrix
  o Backup & Restore – Veeam and/or other popular solutions
  o Cloud platform – AWS or Azure
• Must be resourceful and able to take initiative in a dynamic environment
• Advanced knowledge of computer and server hardware
• Professional customer service skills
• Strong English written and oral communication skills
• Must be a team player but can be independent and can work with minimal supervision
• With good work ethics and professionalism
