Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:

The Sales Manager will identify business opportunities, build key partnerships, and effectively foster client relations to enhance business partner loyalty and retention. The Sales Manager will be responsible for defining and executing sustainable solutions that meet long-term organizational strategic goals to improve the Company’s market position and drive financial growth. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

•    Maintain extensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of the BPO market conditions in the Philippines and abroad 
•    With the Company’s senior and executive management, strategically define and plan the organization’s short and long-term business goals 
•    Develop and maintain a business pipeline; Conduct thorough research on leads, develop entrance strategies, and qualify prospects to generate new business partners and individual and company profitability
•    Promptly acknowledge and seek out referrals from existing business partners 
•    Prepare and present business proposals, drive negotiations on pricing and contract terms, and convert leads to long-term business partners 
•    Manage existing business partner accounts, identify current business partner challenges, devise and present solutions that add value for the business partner, and improve the company’s revenue 
•    Coordinate with internal team and stakeholders to increase sales opportunities for new and existing business partners 
•    Participate in regular business reviews for existing partners
•    Devise retention strategies by uncovering business needs, understanding pain points, and positioning the company as a compelling and sustainable solution for its prospective and existing business partners
•    Regularly prepare and carry out business development / sales forecast, present findings, analysis, and proposed solutions to executive management  
•    Work closely with internal business units, HR, and LD (learning and development) leadership teams, to build the organization’s competitive advantage through its people and their capabilities 
•    Regularly meet or exceed monthly gross profit goals and other key performance indicators consistent with role; Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.
•    Perform other related duties as assigned 

Skills & Qualifications: 

●    Bachelor’s degree in any business-related course
●    At least five (5) years of progressive business development experience in senior capacity, in the BPO setting 
●    Must have experience selling services / solutions in a BPO setting
●    Handled clients from APAC, EMEA and preferably US.
●    Thorough and current knowledge of the BPO industry landscape in the Philippines as well as abroad 
●    Proven track record of improving bottom line by identifying, retaining, and growing business partner accounts  
●    Advanced lead generation, forecasting, and analytical skills 
●    Business partner-focused mindset and ability to deliver short-term and long-term solutions
●    Strong and consistent professional communication, presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills 
●    Entrepreneurial Spirit with undisputed integrity, reliability, professionalism, and maturity, even in uncertain situations 
●    Critical thinking, time management, organization skills and capability to effectively manage multiple priorities at any given time

Location: Quezon City (Office-based for the 1st few months. Will work from home if VP is out of the country)
