Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning, directing, leading, and overseeing all daily company operations
Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction to internal and external stakeholders.
Partners with Renewables executive leadership and provides expertise and guidance across teams to share knowledge and improve business outcomes
Leadership in talent and development activities to systematically build competence and capability, and plan for succession.
Develops annual business plan, programs, budgets, and manage substantial P&L
Initiates and drives programs designed to increase profitability
Stays abreast of new trends in renewable energy to ensure relevancy
Does feasibility studies and profitability analyses for present and future renewable projects
Be able to find equity and financing partners for renewable projects
Responsible for building a customer base
Responsible for getting accredited in Vera and Gold Standard certifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related energy/development field
10+ years overall related industry experience required, with 5 or more years in renewables
Must have broad and deep knowledge and experience of the renewable energy industry and a proven track record from either renewable energy development or operations
Proactively seeks opportunities to continuously improve operations and business and acts on them, and comprehends the business opportunities that arise and can adapt and implement.
Solid understanding of the broader energy landscape as well as renewable energy’s regulatory environment.
Possesses strong stakeholder management experience with demonstrated leadership experience.
Strong strategic orientation and a highly developed commercial instinct, with the ability to drive complex change agendas, understand risk, and act with integrity and high ethical standards and continuously seeks to improve the business by identifying value opportunities and managing risks.
